Galvanized Sheet Refers to steel sheets with a layer of zinc coated on the surface. Galvanizing is a frequently used, economical and effective method of corrosion protection. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

I. Role

Galvanized steel is to prevent the surface of the steel plate from corrosion to extend its service life, the surface of the steel plate is coated with a layer of zinc metal, this zinc-coated steel plate is called galvanized sheet.

Classification

According to the production and processing methods can be divided into the following categories:

① hot dip galvanized steel. Thin steel plate will be immersed in the melted zinc tank, so that the surface of the thin steel plate adhering to a layer of zinc. At present, the main use of continuous galvanizing process production, that is, the rolls of steel continuously immersed in the melted zinc plating bath made of galvanized steel; ② alloying galvanized steel.

② alloyed galvanized steel. This steel is also manufactured by hot-dipping method, but in the tank, immediately after it is heated to about 500 ℃, so that the generation of zinc and iron alloy film. This galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability.

③Electro-galvanized steel sheet. Electroplating method to manufacture this galvanized steel sheet has good processability. However, the coating is thin, corrosion resistance is not as good as hot-dip galvanized sheet; ④ single-sided and double-sided galvanized steel.

Single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized steel. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, i.e., products galvanized on one side only. In welding, painting, rust treatment, processing, etc., has a better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet. In order to overcome the shortcomings of single-sided uncoated zinc, there is a galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, i.e., double-sided galvanized sheet; double-sided differential galvanized sheet; ⑤ alloy, composite galvanized steel.

⑤ Alloy and composite galvanized steel sheet. It is made of zinc and other metals such as lead, zinc alloy or even composite galvanized steel. This kind of steel plate has both excellent rustproof performance and good painting performance; ⑤ alloy, composite galvanized steel plate.

In addition to the above five, there are colored galvanized steel, printing and painting galvanized steel, PVC laminated galvanized steel and so on. But at present the most commonly used is still hot dip galvanized sheet.

Color coated plate Color coated plate, also known as color steel plate, color plate in the industry. Color coated steel plate is cold rolled steel plate and galvanized steel plate as a substrate, after surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion treatment), in a continuous method of coating (roller coating method), after baking and cooling and made products.

Coated steel plate has light weight, beautiful and good corrosion resistance, and can be directly processed, which provides a new type of raw material for construction, shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing, furniture industry, electrical industry, etc., and plays a good role in replacing wood with steel, saving energy through efficient construction and preventing pollution.
